When I first came across Aaron Ruells work I enjoyed his Places section the most, with its muted colors, interesting composition and a kind of hidden intimacy. Looking through all his photos you get a feel of restrospect and nostalgia for a time that is long gone but seems to be reinacted flawlessly.
